Cancellation policies are boat and location specific. Chitown Boating has no authority over cancellation policies. Processing fees are non-refundable.

Your payment will be seamlessly transferred to the new date. Cancellations attributed to weather conditions will be assessed on the day of the reservation by the local boat personnel in charge, considering the unpredictable nature of weather changes. No shows and cancellations within 48 hours of the boat charter, for any reason, will be subject to forfeit the full reservation cost without receiving any credit for a future reservation. Refunds will be considered exclusively in the case of extremely unfavorable weather conditions determined by the local boat personnel in charge. Processing fees are non-refundable. Payment and cancellation: The reservation must be paid in full before the trip. The charterer can cancel their boat rental only in writing, subject to the term described in the subsequent point. If the cancellation is made more than 30 days in advance of the reservation, a 50% refund of the amount paid will be issued. If the charterer does not show up on the day of their reservation without any notification, the charterer accepts that the company applies the reservation payment as a cancellation fee.

Change of reservation date: The charterer can request a change of date for the reservation, with a term not less than 30 days before the original reservation without any penalty. The charterer can request a change of date for the reservation, with a term not less than 15 days before the original reservation, with a penalty of 40%. The charterer accepts that the company applies the reservation payment as a penalty. The charterer can request a change of date for the reservation, with a term not less than 7 days before his original reservation, with a penalty of 60%. Cancelation by the company and refunds: If there is a breakdown, mechanical failure or any unsafe situation notified by the captain before setting sail.
